About
The Queen Mary History Journal was founded in 2011 with the aim of publishing the best undergraduate essays from the School of History and to highlight the breadth of research at Queen Mary, University of London.
We publish three print journals a year in the Summer, Autumn and Spring terms with launch events to explore the theme of the issue and to hear guest lectures from academics in the School of History. Our digital archive and relaunched blog runs alongside our formal publication and is intended as a more informal space to engage with History.

Submissions
We welcome blog submissions from any Queen Mary student, History or otherwise, as long as the content is related in some way to History. Submissions can range from essays, book reviews to more informal writing, opinion pieces and event coverage etc. We also warmly invite any artistic and creative submissions. Equally, all essay submissions put forward for our theme each term that is not featured in the journal itself are automatic candidates for our blog.
